The Good, the Bad, and the Fugly...

I watched Ocean’s 11*2, that is to say the original “Ocean’s Eleven” and then the remake. I’ve discovered a big difference in films made forty years apart – the amount of cool is directly proportional to the amount of smoking. It was a fun double-feature, I like combining movies in my Blockbuster queue – “Mission Impossible 3” w/ “Bourne Supremacy” for action, “Spirited Away” and “Howl’s Moving Castle” for Miyazaki’s anime, then “Kung Pow! Enter the Fist” along with “Kung Fu Hustle” because they have the word “kung” in the title.

One fun double-feature was “Underworld” and “Blade Trinity”. The bad guy in “Blade Trinity “was played by the same actor that plays Lincoln Burrows on “Prison Break” and the guy that plays Michael Scofield was in “Underworld”. Since both actors are from England, I’ve decided to watch “Pride and Prejudice” – normally I don’t like period pieces, but it stars Keira Knightley. So I’ve combined it with “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl”...
